Why do we organise OPEN WINDOW?

A unique approach to music

OPEN WINDOW is a unique form of learning. In addition to masterclasses, there are group classes where we cover mindfulness, philosophy and much more. This form of learning is rare - and its impact on performance practice is enormous.

Our colony is open to everyone. Whether you are a pupil/student or a teacher, a professional musician or a harp lover.

TAKE PART IN OPEN WINDOW – THE HARP RETREAT!

Harp Retreat is a harp colony held at Nowy Dwór near Kraków.

13-23 August 2026

We invite you to take part in this year’s edition of Harp Haven. The main idea is to combine a classical masterclass format with the unique teaching of Rita Costanzi. OPEN WINDOW takes place in the peaceful setting of a countryside manor, where we provide both accommodation and meals.

PRICE: 2600 zł
610 €

We also offer transport for participants arriving from afar – we’ll be happy to pick you up from anywhere in Kraków, including the train station, bus terminal, or airport.

Accommodation will be in shared rooms, matched together with care.

Masterclasses

Group and individual lessons with the main instructor, Rita Costanzi, and assistant Adrian Nowak

Concerts and additional events

During the course, three concerts will be held: an opening recital by Rita Costanzi, a recital by Adrian Nowak, Mauris Ensemble concert and a final concert featuring the workshop participants. Additional events include breathwork sessions, a vineyard visit, and more.

Full board and accommodation included

The course fee covers full participation in all parts of the program, accommodation, and meals.

REQUIREMENTS

Before you apply for this year's colony - take a look at our requirements.

You are over 16 years of age (we do not provide care for minors)
Classes will be conducted in English - good knowledge of English is recommended (we can help with translation)
You are open to retreat, exploring music, want to develop your skills
The use of the telephone and other electronic devices is prohibited (it is better to leave them in the room)
